Diego Piñeros García

Elkin Calderón Guevara and Diego Piñeros García form the Calderón & Piñeros collective, artists and filmmakers based between Berlin and Bogotá. Their projects develop new approaches to art and film through hybrid perspectives and disciplines, questioning hegemonic forms of knowledge and power. They reason about displacement and recontextualization to explore alternative presents and futures and to make connections between memory and the ruins of the past in order to question our assumptions about reality and linear readings of history.
